How to Donate

Donating your stamps is an easy and meaningful way to contribute to the preservation of philatelic history and cultural heritage. To begin, simply gather any stamps you wish to donate—whether they are in albums or loose—and mail them to us using the address provided on our website (click the instructions button below). We accept donations from anywhere in the world, and every stamp is valuable to our mission. For larger collections or special items, please contact us directly to arrange the best way to send your donations. We may be able to reimburse you for the cost of shipping large collections.

Why Donate

When you donate your stamps, you’re not just clearing out space at home; you’re contributing to a larger cause. Each stamp carries a story with it and represents an important a piece of history, one that can inspire and educate. By donating, you help us supply educational materials to schools, support cultural preservation, and engage future generations in the joy of stamp collecting. Our goal is to bring young people into the hobby, inspire a lifelong interest in stamps, and promote their historical and cultural significance. Our motto is ab vetero ad novum: from old to new. From old collections, we create new collectors.

What Happens When You Donate

Once we receive your stamps, our team carefully sorts them into smaller collections which are organized into donation packets (so that teachers, for example, receive a diverse range of countries and time periods). While some historically significant stamps may be donated to museums or specialist philatelic organizations, the vast majority of stamps are donated to schools, community centers, church groups, and young collectors.
