Pack the collection
Gather the stamps and other materials you would like to donate and place them in a shipping box. Traditional stamp albums, loose stamps, books, guides, glassines, tweezers, and other collecting materials are welcome. Use simple packing material, such as crumpled newspaper, to keep the contents from sliding around. We will recycle the box and packing material.
International donations and large collections
We accept donations from outside the United States. Please email us before shipping an international donation so we can advise you about customs and postage. Please also contact us before sending a large collection or material of special significance. For some large collections, we may be able to reimburse domestic shipping costs.
Before mailing boxed albums
We do not accept mass-produced subscription or presentation albums, including UNICEF and United Nations Flag Series albums or publisher-produced thematic sets. We are already fully stocked with these materials and have neither the recipient demand nor the storage space for additional copies. If your donation includes several matching albums or preassembled thematic sets, please email photographs of the covers and several interior pages before shipping.
